LoneStar Basketball Academy comes to St. Paul!
Rick Allison, the man behind LoneStar Basketball Academy, has been giving private and small group basketball instruction for many years around the Metroplex. He now has a new training base at St. Paul Lutheran Church. In addition to teaching hoops – Rick through various methods also inspires Christian faith.
Beginning on Sunday, June 12 2005 Rick will begin offering “open sessions” for basketball skill training. The summer schedule will be as follows:
3:00 – 4:30 Beginners (Elementary Students, just completed 3rd-5th grade)
4:45 – 6:15 Intermediate (Middle School Students, just completed 6th-8th grade)
6:30 – 8:00 Advanced (High School and beyond)
These sessions will be about overall “player development”. This may include ballhandling, shooting, dribble drives, footwork, agility, perimeter play, post play, point guard skills, 2-on-2, 3-on-3, rebounding, passing, video analysis, game evaluation, etc. The cost for these sessions is $30 per person for 90 minutes. Group sizes are limited to 9 maximum. Walk-ins are welcomed provided spaces are available.
