Mythbusters – Middle School Retreat- Grades 6-8
When: Nov. 7-8
Where: Riverbend Retreat Center, Glen Rose
Can a singer really break glass with just his or her voice? In a crash, will a box of tissue stored on the rear window shelf of your car be propelled forward with enough force to crush your skull? These and other urban legends will be investigated, as part of our journey to truth!
Cost is $39 per student. Cost includes 3 meals (Fri. dinner, Sat. Brfst & lunch), lodging for one night and transportation
Stuff to bring: Bible, pen or pencil, highlighter, sleeping gear (bedroll or sheets, pillow, blanket), casual clothes, personal toiletries, good running shoes, warm jacket for evenings, candy for the bus driver.
Stuff not to bring: MP3s and other electronics, inappropriate t-shirts or other clothing, money
Downtown Drop off on Friday afternoon at 5pm and pick up on Saturday afternoon at 4pm are both at the St. Paul Student Ministry Offices.
Summit families and anyone else living out West may meet at the Hudson Oaks Walmart parking lot for carpool opportunities. If you are registered through 1800 but will meet in Hudson Oaks, please adivse Doug or Wendy so the bus is not waiting for you downtown.
